\nJoin the Pirelli Materials Team and contribute to the development of innovative tyre compounds with a focus on performance, sustainability, and safety. From the outset, you will be engaged in advanced research activities exploring the chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of materials, collaborating with our global technical centers to align development tools and methodologies. Guided by your tutor, you will take part in dynamic and challenging projects ranging from analysis to industrialization, driving improvements in quality and innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
\nYou will collaborate with your tutor in:
\n• the development of new compounds, with specific targets for all tyres components
\n• new ingredients scouting for tyres and non-tyres general application
\n• pilot laboratory compound development
\n• laboratory method support and development
\n• Maintain and further develop a strong collaboration with all functions involved
\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
\n• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related fields.
\n• Knowledge of organic chemistry.
\n• Fluency in English.
\n• Knowledge of MSoffice package, in particular MSExcel / PPT
\nPreferred competences and skills:
\n• knowledge of polymeric materials (specific knowledge in elastomers is a plus)
\n• compounds characterization
\n• rheology and chemical laboratory methods / equipment
\n• knowledge in data analysis / statistics
\n• strong motivation to learn and good communication skills
\n• open mindset to think solutions “out of the box”
\n• continuous improvement in the field of competence
